SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NOGRR249

LONG DESCRIPTION: On April 1, 2024, Nodal Operating Guide language associated with Nodal Operating Guide Revision Request (NOGRR) 249, Communication of System Operating Limit Exceedances, will be implemented.

NOGRR249 specifies the methods for Transmission Operators (TOs) to receive electronic communication of system operating limit exceedances from ERCOT. TOs should implement any measures necessary to comply with NOGRR249 by April 1, 2024.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Operating Guide Section 1.3.5, Nodal Operating Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.

NOGRR249 and associated documents can be found on the ERCOT website.
