SHORT DESCRIPTION: Final Reminder - Decommissioning Legacy URL for Market Notifications

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: March 4, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will decommission the legacy URL of Market Notifications on March 4, 2024. This action does not remove access to any notifications on ERCOT.com or the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS). This is simply a clean-up of legacy URLs as part of a larger effort to enhance the security of ERCOT websites. New URLs to Public reports were created at the time of the ERCOT.com website enhancement in November 2021. This effort is limited to removing the unnecessary legacy URLs.

ACTION REQUIRED: If you are still accessing ERCOT Market Notifications using this legacy URL, you will need to switch to accessing the same information at the updated URL.

Below are examples of the legacy URL that will no longer be active after March 4, 2024.

https://mis.ercot.com/notifications/notificationsLocal.action

https://mis.ercot.com/notifications/notificationsLocal.action?filter.endDate=MMM+DD+YYYY

Below is the updated URL already in use that have replaced the legacy URL to Market Notifications.

https://mis.ercot.com/secure/notices

This new URL allows searching by date within the site itself. A digital certificate is required to view these MIS notifications.
