SHORT DESCRIPTION: Hourly Profiles from ERCOT Reliability Standard Study

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: June 20, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: As further described in ERCOT's filings to the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) in Project No. 54584, ERCOT used the Strategic Energy Risk & Valuation Model (SERVM) to perform modeling runs of system scenarios to provide the PUCT with information to inform the selection and implementation of a reliability standard for the ERCOT Region.  ERCOT conducted the Reliability Standard Study through four iterative phases; results of the fourth iterative phase of the Study were filed with the PUCT in Project No. 54584 as Attachment C to AIS Item No. 55.

To provide additional information to stakeholders on the inputs to the Reliability Standard Study, ERCOT has made the Hourly Demand Profiles and Hourly Solar and Wind Resource Profiles that were used in the fourth iterative phase of the Reliability Standard Study available as Excel files under https://www.ercot.com/gridinfo/resource.

Additionally, an Excel file is posted containing the Hourly Expected Unserved Energy (EUE) in megawatt hours (MWh) for each of the Monte Carlo trial runs for each Loss of Load Expectation (LOLE) scenario in the fourth iterative phase of the Study.
