SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of SCR819 and NPRR1111

LONG DESCRIPTION: On May 31, 2024, system changes associated with System Change Request (SCR) 819, Improving IRR Control to Manage Generic Transmission Constraint (GTC) Stability Limits; and Protocol language associated with Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 1111, Related to SCR819, Improving IRR Control to Manage GTC Stability Limits, were implemented.
The implementation of SCR819 began with the North Edinburg to Lobo GTC. After a week of monitoring, the associated logic along with IRR Base Point control is performing as expected. Therefore, on June 13, ERCOT will enable the SCR819 logic for the Panhandle and South Texas Export GTC’s. ACTION REQUIRED: Impacted Market Participants should implement changes to their shadow systems to incorporate the system revisions made by SCR819 and Protocol language revisions made by NPRR1111.
