SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partial Implementation Details of PGRR098, Consideration of Load Shed in Transmission Planning Criteria (remaining language)

DAYS AFFECTED: August 1, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 1, 2024, remaining Planning Guide language associated with Planning Guide Revision Request (PGRR) 098, Consideration of Load Shed in Transmission Planning Criteria, will be implemented. Specifically, PGRR098-related changes in the following Sections will be implemented:

• Paragraph (7) of Section 4.1.1.1, Planning Assumptions
• Paragraph (1) of Section 6.10, Contingency Filing Requirements

PGRR098 adds language to the existing reliability performance criteria to allow a corrective action plan to be developed under certain outage scenarios.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Planning Guide Section 1.2.5, Planning Guide Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
