SHORT DESCRIPTION: Decommissioning Legacy URL for Public Reports

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: September 26, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will decommission the legacy URL of Public Reports on September 26, 2024. This action does not remove access to any reports on ERCOT.com or the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS). This is only a clean-up of legacy URLs as part of a larger effort to enhance the security of ERCOT websites. New URLs to Public reports were created at the time of the ERCOT.com website enhancement in November 2021. This effort is limited to removing the unnecessary legacy URLs beginning with sa.ercot.com/mis.

The URL path for public reports and extracts changed due to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR1039), which removed the defined term "Market Information System (MIS) Public Area" from the Protocols and replaced any references to "MIS Public Area" with “ERCOT website.”

ACTION REQUIRED: If you are still accessing ERCOT Public Reports using this legacy URL, you will need to switch to accessing the same information with the updated URL.

An example of a public report URL changed:

Legacy URL for Report Type ID 11485:
- https://sa.ercot.com/misapp/GetReports.do?reportTypeId=11485
- https://sa.ercot.com/misdownload/servlets/mirDownload?doclookupId=1031323984

Below is the updated example URL already in use that has replaced the legacy URL to Public Report Type ID 11485:
