SHORT DESCRIPTION: Possible Price Correction for the Real-Time Market due to Incomplete Weekly Database Load Update

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: November 1, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 1, 2024, during a routine weekly database load update at 12:00 AM, a data transfer process experienced an issue. As a result, a few modeling components from the NOV_ML1 Network Operations Model were not added into the Market system.

The issue was identified and corrected later that day at 12:11 PM. Real-Time settlement intervals between 12:00 AM and 12:30 PM on November 1, 2024 could have potential pricing impacts.

ERCOT is currently performing an analysis to determine if the impact meets the criteria in Protocol § 6.3 for seeking review by the ERCOT Board of Directors for price correction. Once that analysis has been completed a follow- up Market Notice will be issued with more information.
