SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT Board approval of Real-Time Market Price Corrections

LONG DESCRIPTION: On December 3, 2024, the ERCOT Board of Directors (ERCOT Board) reviewed price corrections for an event that impacted the Real-Time Market (RTM). The event involved a data transfer error that occurred during the weekly update to the Network Model Load. See Market Notices M-C110824-01 and M-C110824-02.

The ERCOT Board determined that prices were significantly affected and directed ERCOT to implement the appropriate price corrections pursuant to ERCOT Protocol Section 6.3(7) for the RTM.

ERCOT Protocol Section 9.5.6 (6) states that RTM Resettlement Statements cannot be issued less than 20 days before a scheduled RTM Final Statement. These price correction adjustments will therefore be included in the RTM Final Statements for Operating Day November 1, 2024, that are scheduled to be issued on December 26, 2024.
