SHORT DESCRIPTION: Updated NSO Part III for CPS Energy BRAUNIG_VHB3

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: March 2, 2025

LONG DESCRIPTION: On February 3, 2025, ERCOT received an updated Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) Part III from CPS Energy for BRAUNIG_VHB3.  The updated NSO Part III indicate the standby cost represent increases and are now $3,837 per hour for 1 year, and $2,368 per hour for 2 years.  Additionally, the fuel adder fell in price and will now be $0.50 for 1 year, and $0.50 for 2 years. 

Because ERCOT has already determined that this Resource is required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability for the period of suspension defined in the original NSO (see Market Notice M-C031324-03), no further study or determination is required. 

Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol section 3.14.1.2(7), the updated Part III of the NSO is posted on the ERCOT website at the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL) webpage, where Notice of Suspension of Operations may be accessed.
