SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Revised results of the EILS procurement for the February - May 2011 Contract Period

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has released the revised results of its procurement of Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) for the Contract Period of February 1, 2011, through May 31, 2011. This notice reflects the final procured capacity and projected costs, following resolution of certain Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) contractual issues and ERCOT's review and reconciliation of the EILS offer stacks.
Public Utility Commission (PUC) Substantive Rule 25.507 (f) requires ERCOT to report publicly the number of MW procured per Time Period, the number of Resources providing the service and the projected total cost of the service for that Contract Period within 10 days of the awards for a Contract Period. Award notifications and contracts have been delivered to QSEs via the Nodal Market Information System (MIS) Certified Area. Executed contracts are due at ERCOT today, January 28, 2011.

Self-Provided capacity is included in the above tables, valued at the weighted average price per Time Period of the competitively-procured MW. Total maximum projected cost of EILS for this Contract Period, including projected credits for EILS Self-Provision, is $7,703,107.30. All numbers are subject to reduction adjustments based on EILS Resources' availability and performance factors, which are calculated after the end of the Contract Period.
This Market Notice supersedes Market Notice W-A011311-01 "EILS Procurement for Feb-May 2011 Contract Period," which was issued Thursday, January 13, 2011.
