SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) Contract Period of April 1, 2011, through May 31, 2011
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)
DAYS AFFECTED:  EILS Load Identification information is due no later than March 4, 2011; Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due March 18, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued an RFP for an EILS Contract Period of April 1, 2011, through May 31, 2011. EILS Load Identification information is due to ERCOT no later than March 4, 2011. Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due March 18, 2011.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The documents listed above, as well as additional information and associated forms, are posted under the "Upcoming Contract Period: Apr-May 2011" tab and the "Forms & Supporting Documents" tab at the ERCOT EILS web page: http://www.ercot.com/services/programs/load/eils/index.html.
Awarded offers will be communicated to QSEs by ERCOT on March 24, 2011. Summary information on these awards will be released in a Market Notice prior to the start of the Contract Period.
