SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) Contract Period of October 1, 2011, through January 31, 2012
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs
DAYS AFFECTED:  EILS Load Identification information is due no later than August 12, 2011; Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due August 31, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued an RFP for the EILS Contract Period of October 1, 2011, through January 31, 2012. EILS Load Identification information is due to ERCOT no later than August 12, 2011. Competitive Offers and Self-Provision Offers are due August 31, 2011.
All documents associated with the procurement of EILS are available on the ERCOT website. These documents include:
*         EILS Request For Proposal
*         11.1 EILS Submission Form
*         EILS Technical Requirements and Scope of Work (2 versions are posted, pending disposition of Nodal Protocol Revision Request 379)
*         Procurement Schedule
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The documents listed above, as well as additional information and associated forms, are posted under "Upcoming Contract Period" and "Forms & Supporting Documents" on the ERCOT EILS web page at http://www.ercot.com/services/programs/load/eils/index.html.
Awarded offers will be communicated to Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) by ERCOT on September 16, 2011. Summary information on these awards will then be released in a Market Notice as prescribed by Public Utility Commission Subst. Rule 25.507 and the Nodal Protocols.
