NOTICE TYPE:  M-A112009-01 Contracts / RFP
SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Emergency Interruptible Load Service (EILS) Contract Period February 1 through May 31, 2010
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs)
DAYS AFFECTED:  EILS Resource Identification information is due December 17, 2009; Bids and Self-Provision offers are due January 7, 2010
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has issued a Request for Proposal for the EILS Contract Period February 1 through May 31, 2010. Resource identification information is due to ERCOT December 17, 2009. Bids and Self-Provision offers are due January 7, 2010.
All documents associated with the procurement of EILS are available on the ERCOT website. These documents include:
*         EILS RFP
*         EILS Resource Submission Form
*         EILS Technical Requirements and Scope of Work
*         Detailed procurement schedule
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The documents listed above, as well as additional information and associated forms, are posted under the "Future Contract Period" and "Forms and Supporting Documents" tabs at the ERCOT EILS web page: http://www.ercot.com/services/programs/load/eils/index.html.
Awarded bids will be communicated to QSEs by ERCOT on January 20, 2010. Summary information on these awards will be released in a Market Notice on that date.
