SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Initial and Final determination of RMR status for NRG Texas Power LLC (RE), SRB_SRB_G1, SRB_SRB_G2, SRB_SRB_G3, SRB_SRB_G4 and SRB_SRBGT_2
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  October 2, 2013
LONG DESCRIPTION:  On July 2, 2013, ERCOT received Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resources with a proposed effective date of October 2, 2013.


  *   NRG Texas Power LLC (RE) - SRB_SRB_G1
  *   NRG Texas Power LLC (RE) - SRB_SRB_G2
  *   NRG Texas Power LLC (RE) - SRB_SRB_G3
  *   NRG Texas Power LLC (RE) - SRB_SRB_G4
  *   NRG Texas Power LLC (RE) - SRB_SRBGT_2
ERCOT has completed its review and is issuing its initial determination that these Resources are not required to support ERCOT System reliability (for voltage support, stability or management of localized transmission constraints under first contingency criteria). Pursuant to Section 3.14.1.2(5), this Notice will also serve as the final determination, and the Resources may be mothballed according to the schedule in the NSO.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  ERCOT has posted the analysis performed to arrive at its determination on the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area on the Grid/Generation page under Reliability Must Run at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation. An ERCOT digital certificate is required to access the MIS.
