SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation of Additional Functionality for ESIID
Market Data Transparency Web Services  

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  LSEs and TDSPs  

DAY AFFECTED:  September 11, 2008  

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will turn on several additional Data Requests
on Thursday, September 11, 2008.  With this implementation, the services
below will be made available via the Archive Tab on the Texas Market
Link (TML) GUI and the Retail API in both the CSV and XML output
formats. 

Services Being Implemented:

 

*          Provide All ESIID Records - The purpose of this request is to
provide Market Participants with the ability to audit their onsite ESIID
Service History & Usage Extract database with ERCOT's ESIID data.

 

*          Provide ESIID Extract Records for Logical Keys - The purpose
of this request is to provide Market Participants with the ability to
audit an onsite 727 database table with an ESIID Service History & Usage
database table.

 

These web services and how they are to be used are defined within the
Market Data Transparency User Guide posted at
http://www.ercot.com/services/userguides/

 

In addition, ERCOT will also turn on all XML output functionality for
all available web services. ERCOT has posted the Market Data
Transparency - Technical Files.  These technical files are a set of
instructions for transforming the XML data to ensure that the format of
the data conforms to the published XSD Specifications.
