SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER - ERCOT Texas Market Link decommission efforts
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  December 7, 2011

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will be decommissioning the Texas Market Link (TML) user interface and the Commercial API report functionality with the December 7, 2011, on-cycle release. After this release, the Commercial API will only be available for Find ESIID and Find Transaction functionality. All Market Participants will need to utilize the Market Information System (MIS), which can be accessed at https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis.

A valid ERCOT digital certificate is required to access the MIS. TML users with a valid digital certificate can use their current certificate to access the MIS; no additional action is required to access the MIS.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The decommissioning of TML will not impact the functionality of the MIS, Find ESIID, Find Transaction, Market Data Transparency or Retail Transaction Screens (e.g. Create Enrollment, Create Move-In, Create Move-Out, Establish CSA, Delete CSA).

Market Participants looking to use a machine-to-machine functionality to download extracts and reports from ERCOT should refer to the Get Reports section of the EIP - External Interfaces Specification, located under the Public Data section at http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/userguides/index, for detailed information.

Users of MIS and the ERCOT website will not be impacted by any of the TML decommission changes. The MIS currently provides, and will continue to contain, all Nodal, non-retiring Zonal and Retail extracts and reports. Detailed extract and report information is available in the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL), found in the Services section of both the ERCOT website and MIS. Existing TML links will be removed from all other ERCOT applications including the ERCOT Website, the MIS and MarkeTrak.
