SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT's Wholesale and Retail processing systems are
back up.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: March 20, 2008 (see Long Description for start and end
times)
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT's Wholesale and Retail processing systems are
back up. The following processes and applications were impacted during
the unplanned outage:
* Retail Transaction processing
* ERCOT was not processing retail transactions from
approximately 8:20AM until 10:02AM.
* The following applications were down from approximately 9:15AM
until 10:05AM:
* Texas Market Link (TML) including Web Services and
Report Explorer
* Retail API
* Wholesale API (PiApp)
* MarkeTrak (GUI and API)
This outage was related to the SAN switch error ERCOT experienced
yesterday, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 (see Market Notice R-A031908-02).
It was necessary for the Wholesale and Retail databases to be rebooted.

SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is currently experiencing an unplanned outage
affecting both Wholesale and Retail processing systems.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: March 20, 2008
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT is currently experiencing an unplanned outage
of the Wholesale and Retail processing systems which impact the
following processes and applications:
* Retail Transaction processing - ERCOT is not processing Inbound
or Outbound transactions
* Texas Market Link (TML) including Web Services and Report
Explorer
* Retail API
* Wholesale API (PiApp)
* MarkeTrak (GUI and API)
* Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
* Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
* Customer Registration Database
Due to the delays with the source systems, it is likely that there will
be a delay in extracts, reports, settlement statements, and invoices.
