SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has a scheduled Retail Release beginning 12:00
PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.
As a result of this Release the attached PR70007_01 MarkeTrak
Enhancements - Release 2A .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A
changes must be implemented.

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has a scheduled Retail Release beginning 12:00
PM Saturday, August 16, 2008 through 12:00 AM Monday, August 18, 2008.
As a result of this Release the attached PR70007_01 MarkeTrak
Enhancements - Release 2A .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A
changes must be implemented. 

The following requirements will be implemented as part of Release 2A:

 

Requirement 7 - Market: Do not allow changes to the Title Field on
MarkeTrak Issues

Requirement 8 - Market: Do not capture Non-ERCOT Owner during "Begin
Working" unless the owner field is empty

Requirement 13 - Market: Changes to Missing Transaction Sub-type

Requirement 15 - Market: Validate ESI ID/TDSP Association

Requirement 16 - Market: Changes to Usage and Billing Sub-type

Requirement 18 - Market: Standardize Sub-type Names within DEV LSE
issues

Requirement 22 - ERCOT: Validation of CR for Siebel Change, test Global
id flag logic

Requirement 24 - ERCOT: Change the layout of the DEV Analysis Fields on
GUI Screen for applicable DEV LSE Sub-types

Requirement 25 - Market: Inadvertent Gain

Requirement 26 - Market: Premise Type Field

Requirement 27 - Market: Add "Close" Capability for Submitting MP for
the Day to Day and Inadvertent Gain Workflows

Requirement 28 - Various Changes to Cancel with Approval

Requirement 29 - Market: Various Changes to Cancel Without Approval

Requirement 32 - Market: Capture Modify/Reassign StartTime and/or
StopTime fields on DEV LSE Issues and Make them available on the issue

Requirement 35 - Market: Add Close Capability for Submitting MP for all
DEV Workflows

Requirement 43 - ERCOT: IAG Analysis Automation, add flag turnoff

Requirement 44 - ERCOT: DEV Analysis Automation , add flag turnoff

ACTION REQUIRED:  Market Participants who utilize MarkeTrak API will
need to update their .wsdl and .xsd files for use after this Retail
Release is completed.  The updated versions are attached.  

 

Please be aware, if you use the MarkeTrak API, you must keep your
existing code for the Inadvertent Switch workflow.  This existing code
will need to be utilized in order to update old Inadvertent Switch
issues that were submitted prior to August 18, 2008.  

  

The attached Bulk Insert Appendix A will need to be used to submit a
Bulk Insert issue following this release. ERCOT will not supply the bulk
insert templates for Release 2. 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Due to 'sandbox' requests from Market
Participants involved in the Phase 2 project and the size of development
and testing efforts, ERCOT has divided coding for the Release on August
16, 2008 into two sections. As a result the .wsdl and .xsd for the
second 'bucket' of requirements to be implemented on August 16, 2008
will be provided in a separate Market notice on Monday, June 23, 2008.

 

The Release 2A .wsdl, .xsd, and Bulk Insert Appendix A will be posted
tomorrow, Tuesday, June 3rd to the MarkeTrak Information page (
http://www.ercot.com/services/client_svcs/mktrk_info/) and the
PR70007_01 project page (
