NOTICE TYPE:  R-A091712-03 UPDATE – Extracts
SHORT DESCRIPTION:   The Supplemental AMS Extract referenced in market notices R-A091712-01 and R-A091712-02, due to post by midnight on September 20, 2012 did not post as expected.
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs
DAYS AFFECTED:   September 14, 2012 to Current
LONG DESCRIPTION: The Supplemental AMS Extract referenced in market notices R-A091712-01 and R-A091712-02, due to post by midnight on September 20, 2012, did not post as expected.
The report failed due to a database error related to the longer runtimes being experienced for the September 20, 2012 file.
ERCOT is making configuration changes to resolve the database issues and will be re-initializing the report today. When the issues are resolved, the Supplemental AMS Extracts will be posted in the correct order. The Supplemental AMS Extract due by midnight on September 21, 2012, and possibly subsequent postings, will be put on hold until the September 20, 2012 file is posted.
ADDITIONAL DATA:  AMS Supplemental Extract files were not posted on September 18, 2012 and September 19, 2012 as no AMS usage was loaded into the ERCOT system for the days covered by those postings.

SHORT DESCRIPTION:   Supplemental AMS extract due to post by midnight tonight, September 20, 2012, is experiencing longer than normal runtimes
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs
DAYS AFFECTED:   September 14, 2012 to September 20, 2012
LONG DESCRIPTION: Due to the high data volume load caused by the issue addressed on the September 17, 2012 notice, the Supplemental AMS extract due to post by midnight tonight, September 20, 2012, is experiencing longer than normal runtimes.
This extract is not expected to post by the protocol required timeline of midnight tonight, September 20, 2012. This extract will be larger than normal and will contain all the AMS usage that failed to load over the weekend because of the issue previously reported.
ADDITIONAL DATA:   AMS Supplemental Extract files were not posted on September 18, 2012 and September 19, 2012 as no AMS usage was loaded into the ERCOT system for the days impacted by those report postings.
The September 20, 2012 extract will include the September 18 and September 19, 2012 data.

NOTICE TYPE:  R-A091712-01 – Extracts
SHORT DESCRIPTION:   AMS data not loading or reporting
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRs and TDSPs
DAYS AFFECTED:  Approximately 14:00 September 14, 2012 to 10:00 September 17, 2012
LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT was not loading or reporting (i.e., sending out activity reports) on any AMS data.
The backlog of files has been processed and Interval Data LSE Activity reports have been generated and posted to MIS for those TDSPs affected.
ADDITIONAL DATA: The root cause was due a failover performed late Friday, September 14, 2012. An appworx loading controller was set to inactive and was not set back to active. Data loading for these files has been resumed. Steps are being taken to identify this event in the future.
Note that as a result of today’s high data load volume, the AMS Supplemental Extracts for Thursday, September 20, 2012 may be impacted with longer than normal run times and larger file sizes.
