SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Reminder - Outage Scheduler application outage to implement PR174-01 Outage Scheduler Enhancements (NPRR219 and SCR783)
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSE and TSP Outage Coordination and Real-Time Management and Support Personnel

LONG DESCRIPTION: The PR174-01 2015 Outage Scheduler Enhancements project combines the release of Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 219 (Resolution of Alignment Items A33, A92, A106, and A150 - TSPs Must Submit Outages for Resource Owned Equipment and Clarification of Changes in Status of Transmission Element Postings) and System Change Request (SCR) 783 (Outage Scheduler Enhancements -- Groups 2 and 3, Group Outage Usability and Filtering Enhancements) into one project.
This project is scheduled to be implemented in the production environment on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 18:30 CDT; however, the start and completion times may be delayed depending on the system conditions at that time.  A Hotline call will be made to Market Participants to announce the start of the implementation, and another Hotline call will be made at the completion of the implementation.
For the External Web Services (EWS) users, the Production Outage Scheduler Equipment List will be posted on the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) under Grid/Long-Term Planning/Network Operations Model/Outage Scheduler Equipment List. This file will be updated after each database load. Please note the details below for the Outage Scheduler Equipment List postings. There are separate equipment lists for Production and the Market Operations Testing Environment (MOTE).

*         NP3-141, Outage Scheduler Equipment List MOTE, Report Type ID 14346

*         NP3-142, Outage Scheduler Equipment List PROD, Report Type ID 13746

Also be aware that the link name is changing for NP8-406-ER from Advanced Transmission Outage Schedule Statistics to Transmission Outage Schedule Statistics.  The report type ID will remain as it is, 10095.
During the implementation period, Market Participants will experience intermittent issues with the following services:

  *   Market submissions and requests via External Web Services, Market Manager and Outage Scheduler

*         Report publishing to the MIS
ACTION REQUIRED:  During the Outage Scheduler Enhancements implementation window, TSPs and QSEs must notify ERCOT immediately of any Forced Outages, Unavailable Extensions and Forced Extensions or other changes having an impact on the Outage Scheduler in real-time.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The Outage Scheduler Transition Plan outlining the procedures for transferring the responsibility of Transmission Facility Outages submitted by ERCOT on behalf of the QSEs is attached and may also be found on the User Guides page of the ERCOT website, entitled NPRR219 Transition Plan<http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/userguides>.

Please include a detailed description of your issue and your DUNS number in your email.
Due to the transition of responsibilities for submittal of outages delineated in the Transition Plan and the timing of the transition at the end of the month, the Advanced Transmission Outage Schedule Statistics Report (NP8-406-ER, Report Type ID 10094) posted on the MIS may not be accurate for one to two months following the Outage Scheduler Enhancement project implementation date.
This Outage Scheduler User Interface release will only be supported for browsers running in the Internet Explorer 11.
