SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Daily_Ind_BESBIDS DDL Update

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  October 28, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT is updating the DDL for the Daily_Ind_BESBIDS
extract to correct a description in one of the column names in the
extract.  The updated DDL will be added to the website as
IND_BES_BIDS_v03.sql on October 28, 2008.  

An important note - there are no changes being made to the
Daily_Ind_BESBIDS extract file, this is a correction to the DDL which is
an optional file used by Market Participants to understand the contents
and structure of the existing posting.

The Daily_Ind_BESBIDS posting is located at 
https://pi.ercot.com/contentproxy/publicList?folder_id=10001838 and can
also be accessed from the Public portion of the Report Explorer for your
company on the Texas Market Link (TML).

 

The change to the DDL is as follows:

 

The comment on the RAMPRATE column was as follows: "The RampRate is the
speed with which balancing energy can be deployed. Measured in megawatts
per market interval (15 minutes)."

 

This comment was changed to the following: "The RampRate is the speed
with which balancing energy can be deployed. Measured in megawatts per
minute."

 

The new DDL is attached for your reference.
