SHORT DESCRIPTION: NP6-622-ER State Estimator Transformer Information Report contains multiple data records for the same piece of equipment for the same moment in time
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: September 2, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION: The NP6-622-ER State Estimator (SE) Transformer Information Report contains multiple data records for the same piece of equipment for the same moment in time. This is a result of data processing behavior that ERCOT is experiencing between the EMS source system and replication for reporting. Currently, our replication process is committing records at a 1 second interval based on the snapshot data from the EMS source system. The EMS source system, however, has the capability of changing data element measurements at a sub-second interval. This creates the opportunity for the reporting system to have multiple data records for the same second for a given element.
ERCOT development is currently working on a solution to be implemented Q4 2011 that will provide unique measurements for each piece of equipment for each SE execution.
