SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for MIS reports of RUC Deselected Capacity

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  September 23 - 27, 2013

LONG DESCRIPTION:  Between September 23 - 27, 2013, ERCOT will implement the grey box in paragraph (3) of Protocol Section 5.5.2, Reliability Unit Commitment (RUC) Process, and will start posting two new reports on the amount of capacity from Resources deselected by ERCOT after being recommended in the Day-Ahead Reliability Unit Commitment (DRUC) or Hour-Ahead Reliability Unit Commitment (HRUC) processes.  The reports will be posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area after each RUC execution (DRUC or HRUC) and will contain the amount of aggregate Generation Resource capacity deselected by the ERCOT Operator per hour in each RUC Study Period.

The two new secure reports will be posted on the MIS on the Grid-Generation landing page, in the Reliability Unit Commitment portlet.  Further information on the new reports is provided in the table below.
