LONG DESCRIPTION:  In accordance with Protocol Section 21.12.2, Notice
to Market Participants of Activities Essential for Nodal Market Open,
ERCOT is providing an update of the implementation schedules for the
following nodal market transition activities. At the May 20, 2008 ERCOT
Board of Directors meeting, ERCOT announced a delay in the
implementation of the Texas Nodal Market. Consequently the dates for all
major milestones in the Nodal project have been delayed as well. ERCOT
is actively working with the market to determine a new Nodal Market
Implementation Date as well as due dates for each of the major
milestones.
