SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will disclose dynamics data to FERC in order to perform reliability analysis of ERCOT interconnection
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs with Resources, Resource Entities
DAY AFFECTED:  July 25, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Office of Electric Reliability (OER) for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has requested dynamics data from ERCOT in order to perform reliability analysis to help form OER comments on various NERC Reliability Standards. This request is made pursuant to FERC's authority under Section 215 of the Federal Power Act and Section 39.2 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 18. OER has confirmed that such data will be maintained as confidential under similar federal laws and regulations.
Pursuant to Protocol Section 1.3.5, ERCOT hereby provides notice to impacted Market Participants of such disclosure and further confirms that it has made all reasonable efforts to restrict public access of the confidential information. As such, ERCOT will disclose such data to OER pursuant to Protocol Section 1.3.6(1)(a).
