SHORT DESCRIPTION:  REMINDER - Changes to System-Wide Offer Cap/Energy Offer Curve floor for Operating Day January 15, 2011
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  January 15, 2011
LONG DESCRIPTION:  In accordance with Protocol Section 4.4.11.2(2), Scarcity Pricing and Mitigated Offer Cap During Nodal Startup, the temporary System-Wide Offer Cap (SWCAP) and Energy Offer Curve floor in place at the start of the Texas Nodal Market Implementation Date (December 1, 2010) will be ending. Effective at 00:00 hrs on the 46th Operating Day of the nodal market (January 15, 2011), the SWCAP will be $2,250 for Energy and Ancillary Services and the Energy Offer Curve floor will be -$250, in accordance with Protocol Section 4.4.9.3.1, Energy Offer Curve Criteria.
Note that offer submittals at the new SWCAP or Energy Offer Curve floor take effect only for submissions starting at 00:01 Central Prevailing Time (CPT) on Operating Day January 15, 2011.
