SHORT DESCRIPTION:  August 7, 2008 - TAC approval to modify the list of
2008 CREs

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On August 7, 2008 TAC approved ERCOT's recommendation
to modify the list of 2008 Closely Related Elements (CREs) by deleting
the following elements:

WALLER to PRAIRIE VIEW

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  After the implementation of PRR764 ERCOT was
requested to review the 2008 CREs to determine the effectiveness of each
Closely Related Element (CRE) in resolving zonal congestion.
Constraints including the eliminated CREs have been determined to be
more effectively managed with local congestion management techniques.
