SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Calculation of Net Energy for Load as used in the
calculation of the Electric Reliability Organization Fee (EROF)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs, LSEs

DAY AFFECTED:  August 1, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  As required by the ERO Fee Assessment (EROF) and
Collection Guide, ERCOT will post AML data for each Load Service Entity
(LSE) by August 1 for the previous calendar year for use in calculating
the Net Energy for Load (NEL) for the following year (January 1 through
December 31) ERCOT is providing an Excel file to each LSE with load in
calendar year 2007, in lieu of posting the data on the Texas Market Link
(TML).  Attached is the ERO Fee Assessment and Collection Guide which
can be used as a reference document on this process.

As set forth in Section 6, Adjusted Meter Load Dispute Process of the
EROF, an LSE may review and dispute its AML data.  If an LSE does not
dispute its AML data timely, the data will be deemed correct.  ERCOT
will finalize the AML by September 15, 2008

ACTION REQUIRED:  LSEs who wish to dispute their load must submit a
dispute prior to August 16, 2008.
