SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Stryker Creek SPS is now in service
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  January 21, 2009
LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Stryker Creek Special Protection Scheme (SPS) is now in service.  The function of this SPS is to relieve thermal overloads on the Stryker Creek to Palestine South 138kV circuit that can occur under various system conditions.  This SPS is documented under Approved SPSs not yet in service on the ERCOT Planning and Operations Information secure website at http://planning.ercot.com/data/spsinformation/ and will be moved to In-Service today.
