NOTICE TYPE: M-B022709-01 General
SHORT DESCRIPTION: ERCOT Website Posting Standard
INTENDED AUDIENCE: All ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: April 1, 2009
LONG DESCRIPTION:
On April 1, 2009, ERCOT will implement a new Website Posting Standard. This corporate standard establishes the parameters for posting content to ERCOT's websites.
Whenever a Market Participant or any other Entity requests to have content posted to ERCOT.com, the ERCOT staff that receive the request will notify the requester that the Information will be posted as Public in order to avoid posting sensitive, classified, or restricted Information. A disclaimer statement will be posted on all group meeting pages (where agendas and key documents appear) to remind viewers that the Information on that page is public Information. In addition to the disclaimer posted on all group meeting pages, each market meeting where materials will be posted to the ERCOT.com website, a reminder will be given.
This new standard DOES NOT apply to the certified, secure, and restricted areas accessible through Texas Market Link (TML), Nodal MIS, Planning and Operations Information (POI), etc. already having procedures and processes in place to post sensitive, protected, or otherwise confidential information and data. The standard does not apply where Protocols dictate posting rules.
