SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Benbrook Autotransformers SPS Approvals
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  Proposed start in May 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received a proposal from Oncor Electric Delivery for two new Special Protection Systems (SPS) on the 345/138 kV Autotransformers at the Benbrook Switching Station.  The SPSs are series reactor insertions into the 138 kV sides of the Autotransformers.


ERCOT has completed its review of these SPSs and is approving them at this time.  Information regarding these SPSs can be viewed on the ERCOT Planning and Operations Information secure website:  http://planning.ercot.com/login/login.
