SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Initial Determination of RMR Status
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  February 23, 2009
LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT System Operations and ERCOT System Planning have determined that the following units are not required for Reliability Must Run (RMR) service.  ERCOT will not pursue RMR agreements with these units for 2009:

 *   Lake Creek SES Unit 1
 *   Lake Creek SES Unit 2
 *   Morgan Creek SES Unit 5
 *   Morgan Creek SES Unit 6
 *   North Lake SES Unit 1
 *   North Lake SES Unit 2
 *   North Lake SES Unit 3
 *   Sweetwater Cogen Unit 1
 *   Sweetwater Cogen CT1
 *   Sweetwater Cogen CT2
 *   Sweetwater Cogen CT3
 *   Tradinghouse Unit 1
ERCOT System Operations and ERCOT System Planning have made an initial determination that the following units may be required for Reliability Must Run (RMR) service.  ERCOT will conduct further studies and make a final determination by April 6, 2009.

 *   DeCordova SES Unit 1
 *   Permian Basin SES Unit 5
 *   Permian Basin SES Unit 6
