SHORT DESCRIPTION:  The ERCOT 2008 SAS70 Report is now available.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  Financial personnel (CFOs, Controllers, other senior
financial personnel from ERCOT member companies and Market Participants)

DAY AFFECTED:  December 10, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The ERCOT 2008 SAS 70 report was prepared by
PricewaterhouseCoopers and is now available.  The result of the audit
was an Unqualified Opinion with no exceptions. Market Participants may
obtain a copy by contacting their ERCOT account manager or by calling
ERCOT's Client Services department at (512) 248-3900.  The associated
ERCOT Management letter is expected to be available in January 2009.
