SHORT DESCRIPTION: Proposal to Add Bearkat Remedial Action Scheme
INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED: Comments due May 18, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has received a proposal from Bearkat Wind Energy LLC to add a Remedial Action Scheme (RAS) at Bearkat. The Bearkat RAS is designed to monitor and relieve thermal violations on the Carterville - Einstein 138 kV line under various system conditions. The RAS will affect both phases I and II of the Bearkat Wind Energy Projects.

The proposed Bearkat RAS is being reviewed by ERCOT.
Comments on the proposal are due by May 18, 2017, and should be submitted to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> using the attached comment form. Any questions or concerns submitted by this date will be addressed by ERCOT or Bearkat.
ACTION REQUIRED: Any comments to this proposal are due to ERCOT by May 18, 2017 using the attached form.

Please note that on May 11, 2017, the name of the portlet "Special Protection Systems and Remedial Action Plans" will change to "Remedial Action Schemes and Constraint Management Plans."
