INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSEs and TDSPs

DAY AFFECTED:  September 8 - 12, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The North American Electric Reliability Corporation
(NERC) and the Texas Regional Entity (TRE) will be auditing ERCOT from
September 8 through September 12, 2008, in connection with its status as
the Reliability Coordinator (RC), Transmission Operator (TOP), Balancing
Authority (BA), and the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) for the
ERCOT region.  

Attached is a letter from Trip Doggett, Chief Operating Officer,
regarding stakeholder involvement in the audit.
