SHORT DESCRIPTION:  New PCAP for Olney - Westover 69 kV single circuit
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  June 17, 2010
LONG DESCRIPTION:  Due to post contingency voltage collapse for the loss of the Olney to Westover 69 kV line, ERCOT may use a Pre-Contingency Action Plan (PCAP) to avoid the loss of voltage support from Elbert Switch to Seymour. This PCAP will require the closing of the 69 kV breaker (1090) at the Seymour Switching Station which is normally open during real-time operations. Notification of the implementation of this PCAP will be provided in the Daily Grid Operations Report and in the Outage Scheduler.
