SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Eskota Switching Station SPS in service
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  January 21, 2010
LONG DESCRIPTION:  Oncor Electric Delivery submitted a proposal for a new Special Protection System (SPS) at Eskota Switching Station. This SPS is intended to protect against post-contingency overloading on the Eskota - South Abilene 138 kV line, the Eskota 138/69 kV Autotransformer or the Eskota - NW Abilene 69 kV line that may occur due to changing generation patterns.
Effective January 21, 2010, this SPS is in service.
