SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation for NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G1 and SRB_SRB_G2
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  January 23, 2019
LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 28, 2018, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for each of the following Generation Resources:

  *   NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G1; and
  *   NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G2

The NCGRDs state that the above-referenced Generation Resources, which are currently mothballed, will become decommissioned and retired permanently as of January 23, 2019.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to ERCOT Protocol Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the notifications in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
