SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designations for NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G3, SRB_SRB_G4, and SRB_SRBGT_2

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  December 31, 2017

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On December 5, 2017, ERCOT received a Notification of Change of Generation Resource Designation (NCGRD) for the following Generation Resources:



*       NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G3
*       NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRB_G4
*       NRG Texas Power LLC – SRB_SRBGT_2



The NCGRD states these Generation Resources, which are currently under a mothballed status, will change to a status of decommissioned and retired permanently as of December 31, 2017.



ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.9(2), ERCOT has posted the notifications in the list titled “Notice of Change of Generation Resource Designation” on the Generation page<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> of the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.
