SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Update to Proposal to Disable Willow Valley SPS #32
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  September 9, 2013
LONG DESCRIPTION:  Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC has proposed to disable Willow Valley Special Protection System (SPS #32) after it completes the installation of the 345/138 kV autotransformer at the Willow Valley Switch substation.  The expected in-service date of the Willow Valley autotransformer is August 26, 2013.
However, the energization of the Willow Valley autotransformer requires the establishment of the new 345 kV Faraday station on the Long Draw - S. Scurry 345 kV line, which has an anticipated in-service date of September 9, 2013.
Therefore, ERCOT does not intend to authorize the disabling of the Willow Valley SPS before September 9, 2013.  ERCOT will update the market if there is any significant change to the project timeline.
