SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation of Revised ERCOT Fast Responding Regulation Service (FRRS) Parameters
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  April 25, 2017
LONG DESCRIPTION: On April 25, 2017 ERCOT will implement changes to the FRRS Deployment parameters. Changes will include increasing the Max Deployment Time from 60 seconds to 90 seconds and adjusting the Deployment Band Trigger Frequencies by 5 mHz. The trigger frequencies effective April 25, 2017 are shown in Table 1.

These changes are designed to align the amount of deployments and length of deployments proportionally with the current frequency profile.   Parameters for FRRS deployment are subject to change based on ERCOT's frequency control performance and system needs.   A Market Notice will be issued prior to implementing the parameter changes.
