LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT has revised the process and form for registering meters when a Transmission Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) is engaged in reading meters for Distributed Generation. The registration allows TDSPs to read meters and provide the data to ERCOT using Texas Standard Electronic Transactions (TX SET) 867_03 transactions for the Resource Identifier (RID).
The new form is attached to this Market Notice and is also available on the Transmission/Distribution Service Providers page of ERCOT.com<http://www.ercot.com/services/rq/tdsp/index>. The form is to be filled out by the TDSP and provided to the Resource Entity (RE) who will submit this form along with their  registration for Distributed Generation to ERCOT. ERCOT has also clarified the instructions on the form. Please note that the Meter Start Date on the TDSP Read Generation Registration Form must match the Start Date provided by the RE for the Generator.
