NOTICE TYPE:  M-B011909-01 Operations

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Sandow Switch SPS will temporarily be out of service

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  January 20, 2009

LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Sandow SPS will be disabled for tomorrow, January 20, 2009, while temporary repairs are being made to the disconnect switch on a breaker at SDSES substation. It is not estimated that this will take more than a day to repair but during this time the SPS will be disabled. As soon as the repairs are made and the SPS is placed back in Service that ERCOT will notify the Market.
