SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Collin Switch SPS Temporarily Disabled
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAYS AFFECTED:  March 28, 2014
LONG DESCRIPTION:  The Collin Switch Special Protection System (SPS) will be temporarily disabled on March 28, 2014 due to project-related construction in the area. When the SPS is disabled, the Collin Switch series reactor will be manually placed in-service. The SPS is expected to return to service in 2015. ERCOT will provide additional updates once the return to service date is available.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Further details of the Collin Switch SPS can be found in the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) under Special Protection Systems and Remedial Action Plans<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Long+Term+Planning>.
