SHORT DESCRIPTION:  New Version of the Monthly Generator Interconnection Status report

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  September 4, 2018

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT will start posting a new version of the monthly Generator Interconnection Status (GIS) reports beginning with the September report that covers interconnection activity for August 2018. The new version of the GIS reports will continue to be posted on the Resource Adequacy<http://www.ercot.com/gridinfo/resource/> page of ERCOT's website.

A sample of the new GIS report with test data for July 2018 is attached for users to review the format of the new report.   Please note that two of the charts included in the previous version of the report, "ERCOT Wind Additions by Year" and "Solar Additions by Year", are being moved to a separate file that will be posted to the Resource Adequacy<http://www.ercot.com/gridinfo/resource/> page of ERCOT's website that will also include similar charts for gas-fired resources.
