NOTICE TYPE: W-A122118-01 Operations

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations for City of Garland, Gibbons Creek Generating Station (GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments due on or before January 11, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT has received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resource:

* City of Garland - GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1

The NSO states that the Resource will be mothballed indefinitely. The proposed effective date for the NSO is June 1, 2019. Pursuant to a previous NSO filed on April 30, 2018, this Resource has been mothballed since October 1, 2018, and is expected to be mothballed for a period not less than 7 months and not greater than 8 months.

The NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area. An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS.

ACTION REQUIRED: Please send any comments you may have regarding this Notification to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, with "City of Garland, GIBCRK_GIB_CRG1 NSO Application" in the subject line. Comments are due no later than January 11, 2019. All comments will be posted to the Grid/Generation<https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis/Pages/Grid+Information/Generation> page of the MIS Secure Area.
