NOTICE TYPE:  W-A121808-01 Operations

SHORT DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT Frequency Bias change for 2009

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  QSE Operations Personnel

DAY AFFECTED:  January 5, 2009 until further notice

LONG DESCRIPTION:  As per the System Operations Procedure, the ERCOT
Frequency Bias will be changed to 660 MW/0.1 Hz for the year 2009.  The
Frequency Bias change to 660 MW/0.1 Hz is effective from January 5, 2009
until further notice.  The current ERCOT Frequency Bias of 651 MW/0.1 Hz
will remain in effect through January 4, 2009.
