SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Testing of Series Capacitors on Edith Clarke to Clear Crossing 345 kV Transmission Line
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  November 8, 2016
LONG DESCRIPTION:  AEP Texas Central Company plans to test the series compensation on the Edith Clarke to Clear Crossing 345 kV transmission line on November 8, 2016.  The series compensation is located at the Gauss substation.  Scheduled details associated with this testing may be found in the ERCOT Outage Scheduler.  After the testing is completed, the series capacitors will be bypassed until further notice.
ERCOT will issue a follow-up Market Notice once the testing is complete or if the testing has to be rescheduled.
