SHORT DESCRIPTION:  MOSTML and Outage Scheduler Performance Improvements

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED:  September 2, 2008

LONG DESCRIPTION:  To address performance issues with ERCOT MOSTML and
Outage Scheduler, ERCOT initiated measures to upgrade listener
applications.  ERCOT will implement corrective measures in two phases.

Starting September 2, 2008 at 9AM, ERCOT will migrate the Outage
Scheduler application.  A new URL will be deployed through Texas Market
Link (TML) for the Outage Scheduler.  Market Participants accessing
Outage Scheduler will need to access TML and select Outage Scheduler and
save as new "favorite".

For the second phase, ERCOT will migrate MOSTML and listener application
to new hardware later in September.  ERCOT will send a market notice
when this is to occur.  ERCOT will have the MOSTML setup in Market
Operation Testing Environment (MOTE) August 28, 2008 for Market
Participants to test with the new listener.  An ERCOT test digital
certificate is required to access MOTE.

ERCOT will provide instructions in the next market notice for Market
Participants using API connection to ERCOT MOSTML to setup new IP
addresses (WAN and Internet) in advance of second phase migration.
