SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for NPRR422
INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants
DAY AFFECTED:  August 30, 2012
LONG DESCRIPTION:  On August 30, 2012, ERCOT will implement Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 422, Public DAM Shift Factors, which was approved by the ERCOT Board on February 21, 2012. NPRR422 requires ERCOT to post to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area the Day-Ahead Shift Factors for binding constraints in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) as soon as practicable, but no later than 13:30.
The DAM Shift Factors Report (NP4-793-CD) will be located on the Markets/Day-Ahead Market landing page in the Operating Day System Conditions portlet on the MIS.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
